All The Good Stuff ("we", "us") runs allthegoodstuff.club, a site of researched buyer's guides to Indian craft. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, and we don't sell your data.
We're based in India, and this policy is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) in mind. If you're in the EU/UK, we also aim to honour the GDPR principles below.
What we collect
- Analytics data — if you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type, and a randomised identifier). Your IP address is anonymised. This tells us which guides are useful. Analytics does not load unless you accept via the cookie banner.
- Affiliate tracking — when you click a product link, our affiliate partner Cuelinks may set a cookie so that a resulting purchase is credited to us. This lets us earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We don't see your payment details or what you buy.
- Newsletter — if you submit the signup form, we collect the email address you provide, so we can send occasional new-guide emails. The form is processed by our host, Netlify. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Contact — if you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we don't run user accounts or on-site payments.
Cookies
We use three kinds of cookies / local storage:
- Essential — a small preference stored in your browser to remember your light/dark theme and your cookie choice. These are always on and don't track you.
- Analytics — set by Google Analytics, only after you accept.
- Affiliate — set by Cuelinks when you click a merchant link, to attribute purchases.
You choose via the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. It is processed by the service providers that make the site work:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — analytics. See Google's privacy policy.
- Cuelinks (Vishwin Infotech Pvt. Ltd.) — affiliate link tracking.
- Netlify — website hosting and newsletter form processing.
Some of these providers may process data outside India. We rely on their contractual and technical safeguards for such transfers.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you (for us, that's essentially your newsletter email and any correspondence), and you can withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time. To exercise any of these, or to raise a grievance, email us at hello@allthegoodstuff.club and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email or email us.
Retention & security
We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, and analytics data for as long as Google's default retention allows. We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we hold, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes; the "last updated" date above will reflect that. Material changes will be noted on this page.
